Hester is the founder & host of COMMON GROUND spoken word sessions / kā tūka toikupu. Recent sessions:
Hester Ullyart is an award winning UK born multidisciplinary artist.
She works in writing and stage performance across theatre, poetry, music and film.
She is currently based in Aotearoa NZ. She is the founder and host of Common Ground Spoken Word Sessions, a monthly event in Lyttelton / Ōhinehou.
Hester is currently working on a recorded album of original songs, THE ALL CLEAR - the live and recorded work is developed in creation with Ōtautahi musicians Reuben Derrick, Hannah Everingham and Thomas Isbister, produced by Ryan Fisherman.
